Miguel Sales

Specialist in Psychiatry and Mental Health, with medical training at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Lisbon, where he completed the Integrated Master's in Medicine between 2009 and 2015. He began his medical training at Centro Hospitalar Barreiro-Montijo, followed, between 2017 and 2022, by the Specialty Internship in Psychiatry and Mental Health. Since 2022, he has worked as a Hospital Assistant in Psychiatry at Unidade Local de Saúde do Oeste, also coordinating the Psychiatry Inpatient Service at Hospital de Peniche, within the Department of Psychiatry and Mental Health. Between 2022 and 2026, he was part of the Specialized Treatment Technical Team of Peniche, of the Intervention Service for Addictive Behaviours and Dependencies, working in addictive behaviours and mental health. Since 2023, he has been a Guest Lecturer in the Mental Health Pharmacotherapy curricular unit at the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Lisbon.
